Tolerance

I’m particularly happy with the composition of panel 2. The perspective is wonky, but the rhythm of the figures really works for me.

I was getting impatient to post this one. I could have spent more time on the backgrounds, but I decided not to. And I think I have a new appreciation for all the shortcuts animators and cartoonists make. The trick is to pull it off as a stylistic choice. And I think it works in panel 5. Or maybe I’m just rationalizing.

Anyway, I’m happy to bring Kasia back into the mix. I like how she’s emerging as a kind of justified egotist–someone who doesn’t just think she’s smarter than the average critter. She knows, because it’s true.
