Good eye! He is still getting over his flashback, perhaps, and still sussing out this old comrade’s motives for tracking him down… he’s keeping his distance. Also, artistic composition purposes, playing dark background off light background :)
This is really something i like about Rudek, he keeps his personal interests, and job interests close but not entirely in sync. And that he’s smart enough to know what he’s doing and keep his distance from the goat he formerly knew.
And for the comic itself, i love how it is comedy-themed, like a cartoon, but no under detailed characters at all.
Too many comics where the characters main detail is farts and giggles. (My fav character is Porucznik Czerep ^^)
Army Intelligence: An old oxymoron.
One’s colors do not always reflect one’s heart.
So true!
Rudek is filling a different role for many… is any one the real Rudek or none?
Curious, is there a reason behind why Rudek remains outside of the shelter and does not share a drink as he talks with Skorzany?

I really feel the cold winter wind. Well done!

Thanks for reading :)
I really want to know why the ram was carrying a seemingly dead or dying girl when we saw him last.
I think Rudek was having a PTSD-induced flashback to his wartime experience. Not the first such in the comic.
Excellent artwork and interesting storyline, as usual sir. Your efforts are appreciated by those of us who enjoy an intelligent tale.
Section II, btw, is, I assume, this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Department_of_Polish_General_Staff
