Integrity

So, this one was a long time in the making. After my mixed feelings about the traditionally-colored backgrounds in the last cartoon, I wanted to see what it looked like if I outlined the backgrounds as well.

I also did a lot of color manipulation. A lot. My idea was to get the textures and atmosphere with the Copic markers, and then get the hues where I wanted them with digital fussing. And overall I think that worked. The result is a more lush, dimensional world for the characters to inhabit, without it being so different in style that the characters seem out of place. At least that’s my estimation. What’s your feedback?

I had trouble getting the feel of moonlight, but I’m happy with my first attempt there.
