I can’t believe New York ComicCon is upon us!
I’m looking forward to going on Thursday as a professional, talking to people about Pear-Pear and Zuzel, and the business and art of comics in general.
I really wish I had more concept art developed for Żużel and the Fox, but I think my goal for this year’s NYCC isn’t really promotion, anyway. I just want to talk to people and get a sense of the project’s viability, get comfortable talking to professional artists and publishers. I think if my goal is just to be friendly, find common interests, and ask questions, I’ll have a better time than if I’m trying to whore myself, which I’m really bad at anyway.
